About Pet Therapy

Dogs and humans have coexisted for thousands of years, often relying upon one another for comfort and protection. This mutually beneficial relationship continues today not only in how we interact with our pets at home, but also in the work being done by pet therapy dogs in a variety of settings.

Some of the scientifically proven benefits of pet therapy: it can lower blood pressure, release calming endorphins, alleviate stress, and decrease feelings of loneliness and separation. In other words, it simply makes us feel better.
